17 Νοε 2002 · According to a post by Ed Harris on Load Your Own the Winchester primers are the hottest made. They have powdered aluminum in the mix to literally spit fire into Ball powders. Their Magnum primers are selected "hot" lots of the same basic primer.
9 Δεκ 2023 · I've been unable to find large pistol magnum primers, but I do have some Winchester LPP. However, the new packaging no longer states that they can be use for standard and magnum pistol loads. I want to load 44 mag with H110, but am now unsure I can use the Win LPPs.
19 Ιουν 2022 · Winchester lists their WLP large pistol primers as good for standard or magnum loads. Anybody have enough experience to verify that? Does a WLP work as good as using separate standard and magnum primers? I have about 2,000 WLPs, and am getting ready to start loading some 45 Colt Ruger Only loads.
10 Νοε 2018 · A WLP Win primer may help ball powder in the 45 acp. WLP is what i use for 45 acp 200 gr lead, and Bullseye powder. If your shooting light target loads, the 244 would seem to be the wrong powder.
