3 Αυγ 2015 · Windows 10 shows the date in taskbar using the Short Date format. You can include the DoW name in it (by specifying ddd modifier), so in taskbar you will have "Thu, 21.01.2016" as date and don't need 3rd row just for the day of week.

By making the taskbar fatter, you'll see the format change to a three line display: Time, Day of the week, Short date. That's the best that this item can do so on its own so I don't think it will satisfy you.
