26 Σεπ 2022 · Recently, all of my desktop icons have started moving to my second monitor even though my main monitor is set as my main monitor under Windows 11 settings. I currently have my main monitor set at 1920x1080 @ 100% zoom in Windows settings and my second monitor at 3840x2160 @ 200% zoom in Windows settings.

On the Settings page, please go to System > Display. 3. you should be able to see your monitors, choose the one you want to set as the main display, and then tick the box that says Make this my main display under Multiple displays. 4. But when I unplug my second monitor they go back to the way I placed them on my first monitor. When I plug back my other monitor, it goes back to spreading across both of the monitors.
