6 Ιουν 2012 · If I don't use start the app will launch but the command window will stay open and won't progress past the line of code that was used to launch the .exe. If I close the app itself then the command window will proceed as normal to the exit command and close successfully.

21 Μαρ 2011 · cmd.exe was closing immediately after starting and by executing cmd.exe /K cmd.exe the console keeps open and closing after any invalid command. Removing the CodePage key under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Console\%SystemRoot%_system32_cmd.exe fixes the problem.
