29 Αυγ 2012 · There’s no blue screen of death, it just goes a bit glitchy then freezes up completely. It was working fine for quite sometime with another version of Windows and the problem has only happened since buying Windows 7.
This might fix your sleep/suspend problems and your random freezing problems. Bottom line is that the default and "auto" values in Win 7 and your BIOS might not produce a stable computer...even with a virgin install.

21 Αυγ 2019 · I installed Windows 7 in a 3-year-old machine. It installed successfully, took all drivers and running great, but every 5-6 minutes it freezes for a few seconds... 30 seconds to 1 minute, and then it comes back alive. I checked Event Viewer, but nothing matched the frozen timeline.
