Previously, there was an Internet Time tab on the Date and Time applet of the Control Panel, wherein one could force a query of an internet time server and also type in a different server from the ones supplied. However, this tab has now disappeared, and I need to have it back.

10 Οκτ 2024 · I can't change the Time Server via the Internet tab in Time Settings because the tab is not there. I understand that domain joined devices will replicate its time via the DC, however, this is not true for me.
Click Change date and time settings... The Internet Time Settings dialog will appear. From here you can select which time server to sync your computer's time to as well as if you want to sync it up right then and there. FYI: The Internet Time tab does NOT appear if the computer is part of a windows domain.

I just noticed that my computer no longer has the Internet Time tab in the Date and Time control panel window. I don't know if this has anything to do with Service Pack 1 or not? The only way to update the clock now is through an application downloaded from NIST.
