23 Φεβ 2016 · I noticed that Microsoft is allowing people to download the Windows 7 ISO at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows7. My machine was running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit in English (This is the full retail version which I have the product key for).
If you have an OEM key, it is legal to use whatever media you want, as long as it's installed on the original piece of hardware it comes with. Microsoft won't care though, as their activation center has told me, as long as it's the valid key. I've used a generic OEM media to re-install Win7 Pro.
