30 Δεκ 2021 · A new laptop will not have the old Windows Live Photo Gallery application, that was deprecated by Microsoft in 2012. On your Start Menu, you should see the new Photos App, which is used for managing your photos in Windows 11.
Although Windows Essentials (which includes Photo Gallery) is not supported (won't get any updates) anymore, you still can download the offline installer. During the installation you can choose which programs you want to install. Below is the download link.
