If you need maximum quality, then you should switch to a CQP 20. Lower value, better quality, but larger size. Keep in mind that the file sizes will be huge.
15 Αυγ 2023 · OBS' default audio encoder is AAC, not FLAC or ALAC, and audio quality in actual perception terms is not significantly different in the increments above 128-160kbit. There's not a lot of quality gain going above that range, and there's even less gain if you have itunes installed so that coreaudio is used for AAC encoding instead of ffmpeg.
