In winter, average temperatures vary from 3°C (37°F) to 7°C (45°F), with colder nights that can drop below freezing. Summer brings average high temperatures ranging from 25°C (77°F) to 32°C (90°F), peaking in July and August.
The tables below give yearly averages for snowfall at cities and towns in Tennessee. The numbers are for the total amount of snow and for how many days it snows at least 0.1 inches (0.25 centimetres).
