A state motor vehicle driver’s license is not re- ATV Supervision Requirement quired to operate an ATV or UTV in Wisconsin. All ATV safety certified operators age 12-15 must also be accompanied* by an adult while operating ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLES on a designated ATV route except for operation for agricultural purposes with adult supervision.

The purpose of the Wisconsin ATV Safety Training Program is to promote responsible, safe and ethical ATV use. By participating in the program, students obtain a better understanding of their obligations to the resources, the landowner, other ATV users and them-selves.
Once you pass and pay for the online course, you will be able to immediately print out the Temporary ATV/OHM Safety Certificate. This is your proof of online course completion. You can print the Temporary ATV/OHM Safety Certificate right then, and/or request that a PDF be emailed to you.
