23 Δεκ 2011 · Lord Jesus, you are the one true Wise Man. The big story and punch line in life isn’t, “Wise men still seek him.”. The biggest story in life, and all of history, is that you still seek foolish men and women like us, like me. You are the real seeker in the story of the Magi.
This week during our Monday 5:55 pm prayer time we will be praying for our national leaders to see Him, worship Him, and to humble themselves and present their gifts and talents to Jesus during this advent season.
26 Νοε 2021 · Are we like the Wise Men who came to worship Him and bring Him gifts? Or do we come asking Him to bless us, asking Him for gifts? Through prayer we have direct and immediate access to our Lord 24/7/365.
Those wise men sought him wholeheartedly: wise men and women still do. But over against them stood Herod and the Jewish clergy. Herod’s response was hatred and fear: hatred of anything and anyone that threatened his self-centredness, and fear of a possible rival, however improbable.
8 Ιαν 2017 · My prayer for all of us at RUMC is that we will be a church of wise men and women who seek, who serve, and who worship Christ, whose birth we celebrated on Christmas Day. If you are still looking for that peace, start the New Year off by dedicating your heart and life to the Lord.
