6 Οκτ 2024 · MechWarrior: Dark Age (typically abbreviated MW:DA or simply MWDA, and retitled as Age of Destruction, MW:AoD, for its second major expansion) was a new tabletop miniatures wargame by WizKids that was set in the BattleTech universe.
First, the FASA storyline ended with the FedCom Civil War in 3067. FASA closed, then WizKids took up the license and jumped 70-ish years ahead, straight to Dark Age. There were oblique references to the Jihad, but much like the Clone Wars for Star Wars, weren't really fleshed out at launch.
MechWarrior: Dark Age (MWDA; later as Age of Destruction or AOD) was a tabletop wargame by WizKids set in the BattleTech universe that uses the Clix system. The game's miniatures are pre-painted models of infantry squads, vehicles, and giant walking war machines known as BattleMechs or more simply "'mechs".
it is perfectly acceptable to use the Mechwarrior Dark Age Mineratures to play battletech... In fact, many players use the infantry figures to play battletech when it is something that we have battletech stats for that have not yet made it to IWM.
All Systems Nominal. What are your thoughts on the WizKids MechWarrior heroclix line from the early 2000s. Personally for me I like the models, and every now and then I go out and buy a pack or two, and yes, you can still buy unopened booster packs for this game off of Amazon or eBay.
3 Οκτ 2024 · Following the release of MechWarrior: Wolf Strike, which was the last set employing blind boosters, WizKids continued to release miniatures within the Battleforce set using pre-set miniature sets. In 2007, WizKids released a series of products for the Solaris VII set while continuing releases for the Battleforce set.
8 Απρ 2021 · This game is worthy of any MechWarrior fan’s collection, at the very least with a Starter Set and a Booster Pack. With like-minded and like-equipped friends, an evening of ‘Mech warfare is easy, manageable, and most of all, fun.
