Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing displaced, unwanted, and non-releasable captive-bred wolves, wolfdogs, and other wild canid species. We are not an adoption agency.
Maple is a beautiful marble coated, seven-year-old female, wolf dog looking for a forever home. She does well with most large male dogs, but not females. As she can be an escape artist, Maple requires a six foot or higher metal privacy fence with dig guards. Interested in adopting Maple? Please fill out an application.
If W.O.L.F. is unable to accept an animal at the Sanctuary, we work with our network of rescue organizations and individuals across the country to try to find safe placements that meet the individual needs of each animal. HOW TO SEEK HELP.
Located in the mountains above Los Angeles, our 165-acre facility serves as safe haven and home to wolves and wolfdogs who have been subjected to illegal ownership, abandonment, and abuse. Here, our Pack Services team provides one-of-a-kind care and enrichment to our wolf pack, who become ambassadors of hope and evolution to all who witness them.
