What does the term “self worth” mean to you? It means first a humanistic effort to solve man’s problems by helping him make peace with himself so that he ceases to be displeased with anything that is truly him.

Self-worth can be defined as the combination of how you view yourself plus your perceptions of how other people and God view you. The desire to feel a true sense of value, acceptance, and love is given by God and is to be satisfied in Him. Struggles with self-worth can occur when too much emphasis is placed on performance and other’s opinions.
There are at least five biblical truths that are needed for a mature concept of one’s self-image. Understanding and relating to these five concepts will enable a person to relax in who they are without fear or pride, or without insecurity or a false sense of pride or arrogance.
