10 Αυγ 2024 · As per FIVB guidelines, a beach volleyball court is 16m (52.5ft) long and 8m (26.2ft) wide. The beach volleyball net height is the same as that of indoor volleyball, i.e., 2.43m (7.97ft) tall for men’s and 2.24m (7.35ft) tall for women’s competition.

Brief overview of the rules. Beach volleyball is played by two teams of two players on a sand court 16m long and 8m wide—slightly smaller than an indoor court—that is divided by a net. Beach volleyball uses the same net height as indoor volleyball: 2.24m for women and 2.43m for men. The first team to win two sets wins the match.
Beach Volleyball competition rules and event format at Paris 2024. Six pools of four, for both women and men’s tournaments, play in the preliminary round, with the top two teams from each group automatically advancing to the next round.
