Start from the day-use parking area off Woodford State Park Road near the north end of Adams Reservoir. Head west on the Woodford Trail. Turn onto the Atwood Loop, a small spur trail that follows the reservoir's shore. The Vermont Department of Forests, Parks, and Recreation maintains this trail.
