13 Νοε 2024 · In typical Rogue fashion, Assassination Rogues end up being overlooked from time to time in Pick-Up-Group (PUGs) content, as they do not bring one of the major raid buffs that increase the entire raid's damage. They do offer a unique defensive raid buff with Atrophic Poison, and many healers will be thankful for having a Rogue in the raid.
Gameplay wise, the racials and base stats work well for both, with the only real specific benefit being Flayer for rogue if you’re looking to do skinning/leather working. I’ve tried the rogue on two other races–both Horde–and could not get into it from the get-go.
Worgen are perfect for outlaw rogues, because Gilnean culture has a big emphasis on guns and agile swordplay. Void Elves on the other hand use the shadow to their advantage, making them more appropriate assassination and (especially) subtlety rogues.
