X-Mouse Button Control is a Windows application for remapping your mouse buttons. It is not a driver for pointing devices, but rather works in conjunction with the installed drivers. XMBC supports binding mouse buttons for an individual process and also allows you to bind to specific window elements.
You have successfully installed the latest version of X-Mouse Button Control (XMBC). XMBC should now be running automatically. It runs minimised (hidden) by default. To open the settings screen you can find the XMBC icon in the system tray (down by the clock).

7 Φεβ 2011 · X-Mouse Button Control only remaps buttons that send standard Windows mouse messages. Does the other wheel activate the button press (orange) highlight in XMBC's GUI? If not, I recommend installing the manufacturer drivers to map the alternate wheel.

If you only have a 3 button mouse, what buttons do you want to use as back/forward? I would think with a 3 button mouse you would want to use all three buttons as their default actions, not back/forward?!
