Science Standards and Courses The Arkansas K-12 Science Standards, adopted by the State Board of Education, represent the work of educators from across the state. These standards include student performance expectations which are what all students should know and be able to do.
11 Δεκ 1997 · Standards are a bold initiative. With the adoption of these content standards in mathematics, California is going beyond reform. We are redefining the state’s role in public education. For the first time, we are stating— explicitly—the content that students need to acquire at each grade level from kindergarten to grade twelve.
The SBE-adopted California Next Generation Science Standards (CA NGSS) can be viewed below by grade level Disciplinary Core Ideas (DCI): Life Sciences, Earth and Space Sciences, and Physical Sciences or by grade level Topic (e.g., Chemical Reactions, Structure and Function, or Space Systems).
