29 Ιουν 2020 · When I would change the patch every 7 days, that night, I would sleep in the bathroom and throw up for hours. I had migraines every day that would make me nauseous. And my body overall just did not feel right.
After applying my 4th patch, however, i woke up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat with my heart and head drumming. I had to crawl my way to the bathroom, where I spent the night puking and finally ripped off the patch and passed out on the floor.
I am no longer on the patches that I used and haven't been since the end of August 2022 (my partner got a vasectomy and we use condoms). I have been on 2 different patches, Xulane and Zafemy for about 3 years. Here are my experiences with each one. Xulane: 2019 - 2021.
Other people don't like the patch because people will see it or it looks ugly. I put it on my upper butt so nobody except my significant other sees it. It's a very private method depending on where you apply it. People also have issues with the patch falling off.
