For me, Xulane was the first birth control Id experienced in 2021. I was only on the patch for a month. Everything was alright with your usual nausea and sore breasts side effects, except the Bleeding I did for a whole month. After applying my 4th patch, however, i woke up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat with my heart and head drumming.
I was researching the Xulane patch and was ready to start it today, but when I picked it up and came home, it was Zafemy. Most of the reviews I saw were bad for the Zafemy brand so now I’m scare. I have no choice now, but to try it out.
My positive experience with Xulane (the patch) Experience. I've been on the patch for 1.5 years. I feel like many people don't know about the patch, but I would consider it as an alternative for IUDs, implants, and the ring because it's also a place-and-forget method (up to a week at a time).

29 Ιουν 2020 · If you're reading this and you're unsure, I totally recommend the Xulane patch! I keep mine on my lower abdomen, and I put a clear Nexcare Tegaderm on top of my patch (lasts up to 7 days, no issue) to secure it and give me peace of mind.
My honest review of the patch (Xulane & Zafemy) gemma • Sun, Mar 13. I was on the patch for a year. The first 4 months, no side effects. Then they switched me from Xulane to Zafemy. (Zafemy is a whole separate issue and made me very ill. I know they say it’s an equivalent but there’s no way).
