29 Ιουν 2020 · If you're reading this and you're unsure, I totally recommend the Xulane patch! I keep mine on my lower abdomen, and I put a clear Nexcare Tegaderm on top of my patch (lasts up to 7 days, no issue) to secure it and give me peace of mind.

For me, Xulane was the first birth control Id experienced in 2021. I was only on the patch for a month. Everything was alright with your usual nausea and sore breasts side effects, except the Bleeding I did for a whole month. After applying my 4th patch, however, i woke up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat with my heart and head drumming.
Other people don't like the patch because people will see it or it looks ugly. I put it on my upper butt so nobody except my significant other sees it. It's a very private method depending on where you apply it. People also have issues with the patch falling off.
I was researching the Xulane patch and was ready to start it today, but when I picked it up and came home, it was Zafemy. Most of the reviews I saw were bad for the Zafemy brand so now I’m scare. I have no choice now, but to try it out.
I was on the patch for a year. The first 4 months, no side effects. Then they switched me from Xulane to Zafemy. (Zafemy is a whole separate issue and made me very ill. I know they say it’s an equivalent but there’s no way). I did go back on Xulane after 3 months or so but my body never reacted the same.
16 Μαΐ 2024 · To help prevent a rash follow the instructions for use that come with Xulane. To help prevent a reaction from occurring, the Xulane patch should not be placed on cut or irritated skin, or in the same location that the previous patch was applied.
