19 Ιουλ 2014 · Allah, may He be exalted, has instructed us to send blessings and peace (salam) upon him, as He says (interpretation of the meaning): “Allah sends His Salaah (Graces, Honours, Blessings, Mercy) on the Prophet (Muhammad), and also His angels (ask Allah to bless and forgive him).
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam Meaning: The meaning of Arabic phrase sallallahu alayhi wa sallam (abbreviation SAW) is “May Allah honor him and grant him peace” or “ peace and blessings of Allah be upon him”. This term should be used specifically when saying Prophet Muhammad’s name.

14 Αυγ 2023 · The Meaning of As-Salam. As-Salam is one of the 99 beautiful names of Allah. It is mentioned along with other names in Surah Al-Hasyr, verse 23. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to seek forgiveness three times after completing prayer and then recite:
Allah ordains it upon us to greet each other with Salam, i.e., saying Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh. This greeting is a dua, which means, " [May] Peace, mercy, and the blessings of God be upon you." When you say Salaam, you mean, "I pray for peace and have no intention to harm you."
