Yabucoa (Spanish pronunciation: [ʝaβuˈkoa]) is a town and municipality in Puerto Rico located in the eastern region, north of Maunabo; south of San Lorenzo, Las Piedras and Humacao; and east of Patillas.

Yabucoa, situated on the southeastern coast of Puerto Rico, is a town with a rich history, natural beauty, and a resilient spirit. Founded in 1793, Yabucoa has grown into a community that cherishes its cultural heritage and embraces the diverse landscapes that define the region.
As was customary in Spain, in Puerto Rico, the municipality has a barrio called pueblo which contains a central plaza, the municipal buildings (city hall), and a Catholic church. Fiestas patronales (patron saint festivals) are held in the central plaza every year.
