2 Φεβ 2021 · News for owners of the FT-891 this morning. A new update has been released by Yaesu and we’ve the links below to bring your radio up to date. Two stage update for the DSP and main firmware which is what will be updated.

Yaesu firmware upgrades on 3 different radios is the only thing I use it for. Might as well rename it Yaesu 10 OS. At least it doesn't cost anything but time, and beats having to buy another computer to support the radios. Just did the 891 upgrade in about 10 minutes after reading all of the pitfalls to avoid listed here.
