22 Οκτ 2024 · On my MBP (14", m1), all desktop-icons in the finder have disappeared after installing Sequoia 15.01. However, this occured only a few days after the upgrade. "Fun" fact: when hiding all windows in Finder (ctrl-option-down arrow), the icons pop up, only to get lost when the windows are unhidden. Help please! This worked!
6 Φεβ 2021 · After a system update, all the files and folders that were on my Desktop disappeared. I'm using MacOS Catalina 10.15.7. "Desktop and Documents" is unchecked in iCloud Drive settings. On icloud.com, there's nothing to restore in "restore files". I'm logged as my regular user, not as a guest.
