19 Δεκ 2023 · One of the most common questions we receive about YouTube TV is why DVRed shows include unskippable ads. YouTube TV offers its viewers the opportunity to record programming on a cloud DVR by adding their favorite shows to the Save list.
You will see ads on live TV and recorded content in your library. You may also see ads on on-demand TV programs. Non-YouTube Premium members continue to get ads on YouTube videos.
It does not remove YouTube tv ads. There might be select content without ads at all, mainly from premium channels like hbo, or random episodes (usually older stuff). But the vast majority will have unskippable ads on VOD, just like cable and other live services.
There have been ongoing issues with episodes showing up as VOD (commercials) when they were recorded and should be DVR (no commercials). It's been going on for awhile and they're supposedly working on it, but I've had this issue for weeks now and it hasn't been fixed yet.
26 Απρ 2022 · YouTube TV’s web site says you can “typically fast-forward through ads on recorded programs once they’ve aired on live TV.” Typically means that it’s the usual practice, but there may be certain shows or networks that will prohibit fast-forwarding the ads.
