[PC Mod] Modding Guide. Discovered some tools that you can use to replace files in this game so it can be used for things like texture mods (and anything else really) without needing any third party programs (namely Kaldien's mod that lets you modify/inject textures into most games that isnt compatible YET) Example/Proof of Concept:
I've been trying to figure out how to add mods to the yakuza 0 available with xbox game pass on pc and for some reason the folder is very locked off, no matter what i do. What are my options?
3 Αυγ 2018 · Textures are stored as your typical .DDS files and can be opened with and saved with Photoshop or similar with a DDS PLUGIN. There are other plugins for things like GIMP that let you save your DDS texture files or other editing apps, and stand alone converters. Quick rundown for saving DDS files after editing.
3 Αυγ 2018 · We mod all Yakuza games, not just Yakuza 0. This guide is a collection of known info on how to modify certain aspects of the game and how to unpack its files, among other things. It's not exactly a 100% complete tutorial, but it will hopefully help get you started on figuring out how to mod the game.
