Hours. Access. During the regular semester, the Divinity Library is open Monday-Thursday, 8:30 am - 10 pm; Friday - Saturday, 8:30 am - 5 pm; and Sunday, 2 - 10 pm. Directions. The Divinity Library is located within the Divinity School building. The main entrance is along the north driveway, past the stairs that lead into the quadrangle.

The Divinity Library is open for access to alumni during business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:50 pm.) Because of security issues, evening and weekend hour access to the Divinity School building is normally limited to Divinity students and faculty members with valid Yale identity cards.
The Divinity Library has primary responsibility for Yale’s research collections in specified areas of Christian history, thought, and practice. The strengths of the collection are in missions, theology, Bible, and the history of Christianity.
