29 Ιουλ 2024 · The index & images can be searched and viewed at www.GeorgiaArchives.org (Virtual Vault link) or labs.familysearch.org. The names of Georgia’s deceased from 1919 to 1927 are now very much alive, searchable, and viewable online—and for free.
Death records for 1919-1927 are indexed and available online in the Georgia Death Certificates. Death records for 1919-1943 are also indexed and available through FamilySearch.org. The originals through 1943 are also available at the Georgia Archives.
Marriage records for most Georgia counties (except where records were destroyed by fire or other courthouse disaster) are available on microfilm at the Georgia Archives. Many marriage records are available in the Marriage Records on Microfilm Collection in the Virtual Vault.
1919 thru 1930 death certificates are available on our website, www.georgiaarchives.org, under the "Virtual Vault" tab. 1919 through 1943 are available on www.familysearch.org (a free website). Just create a user name and password.
