Anoka County has two compost sites that accept grass, leaves, non-woody yard waste, tree waste, and organics. You are required to: unload your own yard waste, take empty bags/containers with you, and; ensure any yard waste you bring to the site is free of garbage, recyclables or plastic. Tree waste may be loose or bundled.
We provide reliable and responsible recycling and waste disposal and invite you to bring your lawn clippings, leaves, and yard waste to our three locations: Inver Grove Heights (year-round), Denmark Township (Spring through late-Fall), or Eagan (Spring through late-Fall).

WLSSD’s Yard Waste Compost Site provides a cost-effective way for residents to manage this waste. Several local garbage haulers provide seasonal curbside collection of grass and leaves.
