Camp Echo offers 4-day, 3-night camps, providing families a chance to relax, laugh, play, and grow together in the beautiful, peaceful woods of Michigan. Escape from the stresses of homework, afterschool activities, and technology, and strengthen your family bonds through outdoor fun and teamwork.
Camp Echo is a residential YMCA overnight camp near Fremont, Michigan. Each summer, more than 1,500 campers of all ages get the Echo experience, some for the first time, some returning as families with children of their own, and everything in between.
Camp Echo is a traditional, coed, sleep-away camp located about 90 mins from New York City. Our unique, child-centered world becomes a home away from home each summer for our campers, ages 7-15. The community and friendships we build together through caring and trust last a lifetime.
We offer a huge variety of camp locations, options and formats, so no matter what your background or summer schedule, there’s a place for your kids at a Y camp. Camp Echo

Attendees can choose to stay on-site in yurts or cabins or select a more rustic experience by bringing their own tents.
