16 Ιουλ 2021 · Sadly, it’s not all 4K sunshine and roses just yet, as YouTube appears to have still a few limitations on what videos will play in 4K on the Apple TV. Right off the bat, it seems that only 30fps is supported right now in 4K.

If the issue persists, force-quit the app, restart the device, then relaunch and try again. If the issue still persists, delete the app, re-download and try again.
YouTube 4K no longer in 4K. With the update to iOS 15.4 we finally got the ability to long press on videos to adjust recommendations, however, videos badged as 4K no longer play in 4K. In fact they barely play in HD. I haven’t changed any settings in my setup and other apps are unaffected.
