The ZMB Vice Province comprises 4 countries namely: Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi and Namibia. These four countries are in the southern part of Africa. The Vice Province is animated by the Provincial Superior with the help of Councilors and organized through Commissions.
Focus 2021. Rundu - ZMB 16-05-2021. Don Bosco is becoming Namibian in Rundu. (Rundu, Namibia) The Namibian week (April 21-April 27) of the Extraordinary Visitation of the ZMB Vice Province (February-May 2021) was a true Salesian spirit celebration.
12 Μαΐ 2021 · During the Extraordinary Visitation led by Fr Václav Klement to the ZMB Vice Province, three inter-provincial meetings, with two other neighboring provinces - AFC and AFM, were organized.
31 Μαΐ 2021 · Also, the Salesian mission is growing in many ways: a first street children project in Zambia, six new secondary schools (2 of them started in 2021), the relaunching of the SYM in each of 14 Oratories and the fast-growing Association of Salesian Cooperators (11 centers with 265 promised members).
10 Μαρ 2021 · After 9 years, the novitiate of the "Zambia-Malawi-Zimbabwe-Namibia" Vice Province (ZMB) was transferred back to Kabwe in 2019. Currently the novice master, Fr Treshphord Chisanga, is accompanying 11 novices from 5 countries: South Africa, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Namibia and Zambia.
PROVINCE. The first Salesians arrived in Zambia in 1982. At present, we work in four countries: Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi and Namibia. In 2012 we celebrated the 30th Jubilee of the Salesian presence in ZMB. Please find more information under “Organization”.
