Welcome to the Salesian Vice Province ZMB. The First Missionaries. On 12 th October 1982, the first Salesians arrived in Zambia under the leadership of Fr. Casmir Cichecki.
The ZMB Vice Province comprises 4 countries namely: Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi and Namibia. These four countries are in the southern part of Africa. The Vice Province is animated by the Provincial Superior with the help of Councilors and organized through Commissions.
“The province or vice-province unites the different local communities in one large community….it strengthens the bonds of communion between the members and the local communities and offers a specific service to the particular Church.” (Art. 157)
Focus 2021. Rundu - ZMB 16-05-2021. Don Bosco is becoming Namibian in Rundu. (Rundu, Namibia) The Namibian week (April 21-April 27) of the Extraordinary Visitation of the ZMB Vice Province (February-May 2021) was a true Salesian spirit celebration.
