PROVINCE – Salesian Vice-Province of ZMB. The first Salesians arrived in Zambia in 1982. At present, we work in four countries: Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi and Namibia. In 2012 we celebrated the 30th Jubilee of the Salesian presence in ZMB. Please find more information under “Organization” Number of ZMB Confreres.

OUR CONGREGATION. The Salesians of Don Bosco (or the Salesian Society, officially named the Society of St. Francis de Sales) is a Roman Catholic religious institute founded in the late nineteenth century by Saint John Bosco to help poor youths and children during the Industrial Revolution. The institute is named after St. Francis de Sales.
Zambales, officially the Province of Zambales (Sambal: Probinsya nin Zambales; Ilocano: Probinsia ti Zambales; Pangasinan: Luyag/Probinsia na Zambales; Filipino: Lalawigan ng Zambales), is a province in the Philippines located in the Central Luzon region.
Some of the sisters are professionally prepared for the mission in the Salesian charism and some are presently studying in Rome in preparation to undertake active participation in the mission of Don Bosco and Maria Mazzarello in the Church in Zambia.
