29 Ιουν 2020 · Having submitted a review of Zork: The Great Underground Empire - Part 1, I want to step back and take a more detailed look at some of the puzzles in the game. If you haven't played it yet, I suggest that you do so before reading my comments below, as they contain gobs of spoilers.
17 Ιουν 2021 · Zork 3 walkthrough. The Lake and Aqueduct. Get the lamp and turn it on. Go south to the Junction. Notice your faithful Elvish sword, stuck in the rock, but you can't take it just now. Continue south three times to Lake Shore. Turn the lamp off and drop it. Save the game. Enter lake.
For the real oldtimers, there’s also a bit of even more meta meta-humor here: there’s a trivia quiz in the endgame of the original PDP-10 Zork about Zork itself. One of the possible questions is, “In which room is ‘Hello, Sailor’ useful?”
