I wanted something original Winchester but mismatched ( lower cost ) but solid and not worn out. I found a 1897 take down Winchester for a little over $500.

   11 Σεπ 2021 · Hi all, Just purchased a TTN 1897 riot shotgun repro and (of course) want to make it into a trench gun. Many suppliers of conversion kits say they will only fit originals but supposedly this is an exact copy and so I'm thinking it ought to fit.
