10 Οκτ 2020 · You can check with cold engine running by spraying with carb cleaner and seeing if RPM changes. Or better yet, monitor fuel trims and O2 sensors when spraying the carb cleaner, you should see some sort of spike in the graphs if the carb cleaner makes it inside the engine.

13 Ιουλ 2017 · Here is what has been replaced to try and stop this misfire: spark plugs, spark plug wires twice, distributor cap twice, rotor, ignition coil, EGR, CTS on intake manifold, coolant temp gauge sender, fuel filter, fuel pump, MAF sensor, oil change.
14 Ιαν 2011 · I have a 1998 chevy vortec 5.7L with 4L60E trans. The motor is a newly installed crate motor. All new: fuel pump, fuel line, spider injectors, oil cooler, oil lines, and trans flushed with filter change. Now the problem: starts up fine, but when warmed up and I come to a stop or even slow to turn a corner the oil pressure drops and engine dies.
My '98 K2500 with the 5.7 Vortec surges very badly at idle. Park idle is 700 rpm. In gear idle is 650 when it stabilizes, but drops as far as 350 in a regular hunt that oscillates every 3-4 seconds. Sometimes after 10 or 20 seconds the idle will stabilize. Sometimes when you put it in drive or reverse (especially reverse) it will stall out.
8 Ιουν 2021 · Pulled intake and found an intake leak, installed new gaskets and sealant to eliminated that as a potential issue. Still threw the P0305 code immediately on test drive. Checked grounds, cleaned, all good.
