1 Αυγ 2014 · Base on the foot pound figures you provided, my math tells me that the 40 S&W has 93.9% of the power of the 38 Super. In fact, the 38 Super is commonly recognized as providing slightly more energy than either the 40 S&W or the 45 ACP!
8 Φεβ 2011 · The .38 and .40 both run at high pressure to push their bullets fast enough to make major, which means heavier recoil. The .45 runs at half the pressure and pushes a 185 gr. bullet, same as the .40. Less recoil, same bullet weight, translates to easier shooting and better accuracy.

3 Μαρ 2016 · Mine is extremely accurate and fast, but it would be interesting to see which one you prefer if you buy a 38 Super. I think in the USPSA arena, more is better, with everything else being equal. As far as plates go, I can hold my own against the 38 Supers and 9mm here in the Cinci area.
