The Buick Invicta is a full-size automobile produced by Buick from 1959 to 1963. [1] The Invicta was a continuation of the mid-range Buick Century that mated the standard size Buick LeSabre (pre-1959, Buick Special) body with Buick's larger 401 cubic inch Fireball V8 engine.

The 1961 Buick Invicta was available as a two- or four-door sedan and a convertible. Power was from a 401 cubic-inch V8 engine that produces 325 horsepower. They had a dual-path Turbine automatic gearbox with power hydraulic brakes and power steering.
Buick built 18,398 examples of the Invicta four-door hardtop in 1961, along with 6,382 of the two-door hardtop, and 3,953 of the convertible coupe. In 2008, Buick used the name 'Invicta' for a concept car that was unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show in 2008.
