You can host a server by going to multiplayer and click host a game. You can choose to do a public server or a private game. The name of your world works as a seed (I believe) so if you give it the same name you will get the same map. It's not the same map as a single player map since single player and multiplayer are completely seperate!
I just got my friend 7 days to die, and we tried a survival multiplayer world. I now see that anything but a private match probably does not work. We technically haven't tried a private match yet, but I still think we're going to encounter the same problem.
13 Νοε 2023 · What you do is the host starts 7 days, then the guest doesn't start until building environment shows up on hosts screen. Then invite, should work. If not, go to settings, network and test network connection, it will make sure ( which it already is ) that you are connected to the PSN.
What you could try is that you both start your game in main menu, one starts hosting and then your friend joins. If that does not work, he should terminate the game and try from ps main menu with a new invite from you. What he could also try is not via invite, but via Join game as Join request from him.
