After a student selects Accelerated Reader on the Home page, he or she can take Reading Practice, Vocabulary Practice, Literacy Skills, and Other Reading Quizzes. To see a video demonstration of how students take a quiz, click here. Students should take quizzes within 24 hours of finishing a book.
While quizzing from home may be necessary for some situations, it's also important to ensure that you have set students up for success. Motivated readers, Improved skills. Accelerated Reader motivates students to read more through engaging quizzes, goal setting, and personalized recommendations. As students increase their reading volume, they develop greater reading stamina, word recognition, and language comprehension skills.
How Students Log In. Note: To see student user names and passwords, on the Home page, select your name, then Manage Apps & Users. Select Users and then, on the Students tab, select Password Report. Use the drop-down lists to choose the class (es) you want to see and how students are grouped.
