Event Information. AIDS Walk Philly is on the third Sunday of October (the 20th). Registration Tables & Donation Tent open at 7:30 AM Walk begins at 8:30 AM. In front of the Philadelphia Art Museum. AIDS Walk Philly is a 5K winding along the scenic Martin Luther King Drive.

The Annual AIDS Walk Philly takes place on the third Sunday in October. AIDS in Philly Video Series "AIDS in Philly: Fighting Stigma" highlights the experiences of several local people living with HIV with stigma and its impact on their lives and the epidemic.
9 Οκτ 2024 · AIDS Walk Philly returns for its 38th year on Oct. 20, bringing together the community to provide essential emergency funding for individuals living with HIV in the Philadelphia area. Hosted by AIDS Fund, this year’s event aims to raise crucial funds for those facing homelessness or unstable housing.
History. In 1987, volunteers from Philadelphia’s gay and lesbian community center, Penguin Place, decided to organize a walk-a-thon to support area AIDS agencies and to raise public awareness about the disease. The Philadelphia Region's first AIDS Walk raised $33,000.
