They cover half a million acres of public lands, from the 209,000-acre Baxter State Park at the base of Katahdin to the 92 miles of lakes and rivers known as the Allagash Wilderness Waterway.
This list includes 35 state parks, public reserved lands, and state historic sites in the U.S. state of Maine.
