Angela Findlay is an Anglo-German artist who creates paintings, installations and talks on the themes of beauty, time and trauma. She has taught art in prisons in England and Germany and has exhibited her work internationally.
As a career soldier, accomplished artillerist and Wehrmacht division leader, he had become a cog in Hitler’s massive invasion of Russia in 1941, a war of brutality and annihilation previously unknown to the world. Yet his letters reveal he believed that destroying the Bolshevists was justified.

Angela Findlay is an Anglo-German artist and public speaker who has spent much of her career teaching art in prisons. Her time 'behind bars' in Germany and later as Arts Co-ordinator for the London-based Koestler Arts charity informed her research into the intergenerational consequences of unresolved trauma, guilt and shame.
