20 Μαΐ 2024 · Average precipitation is the long-term average in depth (over space and time) of annual precipitation in the country. Precipitation is defined as any kind of water that falls from clouds as a liquid or a solid.

These data include quality controlled daily, monthly, seasonal, and yearly measurements of temperature, precipitation, wind, and degree days as well as radar data and 30-year Climate Normals. Customers can also order most of these data as certified hard copies for legal use.
Precipitation is not abundant, since it amounts to 365 millimeters (14.3 inches) per year, and follows the Mediterranean pattern, with a maximum from November to February and a minimum in summer, when clear skies prevail and there are only occasional thunderstorms.
