19 Φεβ 2024 · As Yahoo and AOL are the same company for mail purposes, I think partially it's an AOL/Yahoo issue and partially an Outlook issue. No solution occurs to me yet. Have tried adding the Yahoo account and that works by providing the password, but of course doesn't have any of the other emails (it was basically an account to provide for junk purposes).

24 Ιουν 2024 · I have had my AOL mail account setup in Outlook for years and it suddenly stopped working. Incoming mail is setup with the server as: imap.aol.com and the port is set to 993. Encryption type is SSL/TLS. Outgoing mail is setup for smtp.aol.com for port 465. I am using Classic Outlook.
If AOL Mail is not working in win 10 Mail, try this: Remove AOL account from Win 10 Mail Login to AOL Online . Under your name select "Account Info" On the left select "account security" at the bottom

9 Οκτ 2023 · I currently use Windows Mail and Calendar to check my AOL e-mail, but I got a notice that Windows Mail is being phased out at the end of 2024, and Outlook is replacing it. So I want to try and sync my AOL account with the new Outlook. I've downloaded it, but it asks for a third-party app password.

11 Φεβ 2024 · I have since called AOL. Apparently, the panel that opens in Outlook 356 while trying to set up email is a Yahoo panel. Yahoo owns AOL. AOL owns Verizon emails. The companies are not connected for the email service. I can't use the Yahoo window for AOL emails, but I had no other options. I found this article online:
