IF I am not mistaken, it sounds to me that Plaza’s character is possibly an allusion to the Emerald Warlock in Wanda’s comic solo, the Witches Road (2016), but gender bent. Instead of being Wanda’s magical nemesis, they’ve repurposed Plaza’s green witch to be Agatha’s rival/ex-lover to grant the crone (in the comics that is) more depth to the character.
